hand-crafted soy wax candles, made in my Dunedin home studio

I'm a California native who moved to Dunedin in April 2021. Before Dunedin, I lived in Melbourne for 5 years. I started learning about candle making in July 2021, and started off making 5 - 10 candles at a time for friends. With the endless testing of scents, wax, and jar combinations I slowly realized I had enough experience to begin sharing my candles with others. Kindly Candles was born in March 2022.

I'm inspired by nature, especially the reminiscence of places lived and traveled. I'm lucky to call these places home, and hope this reflects in my scents in time to come.

I believe mood and well being can be enhanced by the right scent. That's why I create small batches of luxury soy wax candles to fill your space with warmth and comfort. All candles are handcrafted in Dunedin, New Zealand.​
